My birthday this year wasn’t exceptionally exciting, but it was low-key and pretty good. My original plans were to do the family thing during the day and then go to Tampa that night, but things changed slightly.
I have this thing about theme parks; I LOVE THEM. I always go to Disney World on my birthday because, well.. It’s fun and also, you get a “Happy Birthday!” pin and all the cast members tell you “Happy Birthday!” and tend to give you free stuff. Who would pass on that? So, I did that with my dude and my family. Zing! It tired me out though. BAD! I made my boyfriend come home and take a three hour nap with me, but by the time I woke up I was in no mood to party/drink/stay in Tampa, etc., so we ended up watching movies in bed, eating pizza, and sleeping. I liked it. I’m pretty much content anytime I’m with him, so I was set.
The rest of the weekend was pretty low-key as well. We went and had dinner/stayed with his parents and hung out. Nothing too exciting to report there.
Also, thank you!!! to a certain someone for the Hello Kitty car seat covers. Hahaha.. I keep telling myself that 22 is too old for Hello Kitty luggage, backpacks, keychains, pillows, underwear, lunchboxes, etc., but who cares! I like it. :)

I had been considering ditching my Sidekick for the past month or so. It just became more of an annoyance than a convenience for AiM & e-mail. Plus, I wanted a phone that was a little more up-to-date because the Sidekick has been falling pretty short. I looked into a few different phones, but T-Mobile wasn’t offering much and I wasn’t going through the trouble with providers and contracts just for a phone. I looked into the Tony Hawk ones, but my Sidekick is barely use as is and I wasn’t going to drop money just to get video. At least I thought that’s what I had to do. T-Mobile neglected to advertise largely that their would be an over-the-air update giving video and other updates to Sidekick users. Luckily I went forum-to-forum and site-to-site to find this out, because they didn’t mention it anywhere in the release of the Tony Hawk LE Sidekick. Anyway, I kind of forgot about the update until I got it this weekend. Some of the newer feature?

I am rather impressed and I’ve heard rumors about the Sidekick 4 coming out soon, but IDK. Overall, it’s a major upgrade and the images even seem a bit clearer. I might keep my Sidekick a bit longer. Now if only you could do mobile broadcasting from it.
